Survey of South African Opinion: Coalition Snap Poll

A survey put into the field following the 29 May 2024 election shows that South Africans strongly favour an ANC-DA (or ANC-DA and other parties of the Multi-Party Charter such as the IFP) coalition over an ANC-MK Party or ANC-EFF coalition. Here, we also look at preferences locally in Gauteng and KwaZulul-Natal as well as the thoughts of ANC, DA and MK voters.
