Christopher Coker is Professor at the London School of Economic (LSE) where he has been teaching since 1982. He is the author of numerous works, most recently Warrior Geeks: how technology is changing the way we fight and think about war (forthcoming). He is a former member of Council of the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) for whom he wrote a monograph Empires in Conflict: the rift between Europe and the United States (2003) and Rebooting the West (2009). He is has written for The Times, The Wall St Journal, The European, Independent, Times Literary Supplement and Literary Review. He lectures regularly in Europe, Asia and America, and has been a Visiting Fellow of institutes in Tokyo, Singapore, Bangkok and Oslo.
