The award was presented at a special investiture ceremony in Lusaka.
President Obasanjo said: “It will be an honour to receive this award from President Hichilema, along with President Johnson Sirleaf and President Koroma. For Africa to manage the wave of young people coming into the jobs market and triumph in the future then we must harness the power of democracy and economic development to achieve this. I know my friend President Hichilema feels the same.”
After the ceremony in Lusaka the former Presidents attended The Brenthurst Foundation’s annual board meeting which this year will take place in Livingstone.
